WHAT'S GOING ON IN OUR TRAINING CENTERS?

Can you believe that from January 1st to the end of May there were 980 members who obtained either a certification or a qualification card? Also, from January 1st of 2006 to the end of May 2009, 10,840 members were trained. These numbers could only be possible through the hard work and dedication of our training staff around the state. More importantly, every member of the Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters understands the need for safety training and keeping up with new technology. With all this training our members now stand ready for the economic turnaround. If the class you are interested in is not currently advertised, please put your name in for it and when we have 10 members signed up, we will run the class.

News from Albany: our Hazardous Abatement Grant Application was for $332,000 and after budgetary cuts, we were finally approved for $212,917, which is an increase from the present grant of $166,000!
