The Empire State Regional Council of carpenters is proud to release our new website. The goal of our site is to increase our presence on the internet, to keep our membership informed, demonstrate our ability to adapt to the changing times and increase the membership and market share of the carpenters union in New York State.

Our commitment to educational advancement stretches from the 1st year apprentice to the veteran Master carpenter. Our programs are designed to increase our members knowledge, skills and productivity and make our contractors recognized as the best in the industry.

The best place to begin a rewarding career in the construction industry is through an Apprenticeship with the UBC.

We will teach you everything you need to know to become a skilled and profitable carpenter hands on on the job while you're being paid. Coupled with classroom training from industry leading professionals you will emerge from our program as one of an elite class of carpenters, the very best, A UBC Journeyman Carpenter.

Our Membership also has access to the most advanced Journeyman Upgrade Training available. As building systems change and develop over time the knowledge and skill needed to install them needs to keep pace. classroom

No one recognizes this need more than the Carpenters Union. Our Training Instructors are certified to teach the latest and most cutting edge technologies as well as the tried true methods of the past.
